It was just two days after Jesus had been greeted by cheers shouted, palms waved, and praises lifted. It didn’t take long for the religious leaders to confront Jesus as they were trying to manipulate Him, to test Him with questions in an attempt to challenge His authority.
And little has changed, for today we do the same thing. We try to manipulate Him into our way of thinking, making Him align with our view points. But that is not who He is. It should not be about us getting Him aligned with our way, but should be about us getting aligned with His way.
We want to be in charge. We want to control things. But all I can say is, “Too bad!” He is the one in control.

So much happened on Holy Tuesday, but the one important takeaway is … He is God and He is charge. And they, and often we too, don’t like that.
The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone!
Make sure you make Him first in your life.
He is who He says He is.
