I am terrible with names – really terrible. Early in my marriage, I even called my wife by my old girlfriends name – ouch. Yet my wife stuck with me. Names. But the Heart of Christmas is not about gifts, trees, music … it is about a baby, with a name that every knee will bow to, every tongue will confess – He is Lord.
The Heart of Christmas is about one name above every other name – Hope has a name, Peace has a name, Joy has a name, Love has a name.
That name is Jesus.
And the prophet tells a little about this Jesus – Isaiah tells us some of Jesus’s titles.
