This weekend, I started a new study on Water Walking. This is an adapted study using John Ortberg’s If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat.
This powerful challenge on faith, on choices, on courage, on obedience takes the Biblical narrative of …
– storms in life and feelings of abandonment
– fear and courage
– obedience and distraction
– failure and faith
– opportunity
We see God at work. We see Peter trust (and stumbled). We see a lesson on faith. And we might just see ourselves …. and get ready, we might be the ones sticking it out clinging to the boat’s hull, hunkering down in the boat … missing the opportunity to walk on water.
However, it’s not too late. Let’s see where we can get out of the boat.
