DON’T MESS WITH 5-0
Yesterday, I wrote about slapping a police officer, even slapping the President (It wasn’t an act or desire, it was an illustration … chill out people.) And shortly after I posted that article, one of our boys in blue walked into the restaurant where I was having a lovely breakfast with my wife. He was followed by a friend of mine, who immediately pointed me out to the officer.
He pointed me out to the officer.
The entire restaurant looked at me with quizzical faces.

The officer escorted me out of the establishment. As we walked down the sidewalk, he explained I parked in an area where state construction workers, who would shortly begin their work on the street, were requesting I relocate my FJ.
Whew.
So I got in, drove 20 yards to a side parking lot – but I did not use the seatbelt.
Immediately, I thought he was going to pull me over.
He did not.
Again, Whew!
Upon return to my eating table, people where abuzz and asking what I did.
It’s amazing how we jump to conclusions.
Lesson I learned … don’t write anything negative about the police, it will come back on you. (Just ask JD Vance)
Next lesson … I should’ve just shrugged my shoulders to the other eaters and said he let me finish my meal before arresting me. Small towns need something to talk about.

Have a great weekend.
