Beach vs Mountains

I arrived in Hollywood Beach today. More on this in the coming days. But it gave me a simple thought … beach vs mountains.

I live in the middle of a state that if I drive a few hours east … I hit the Atlantic. Go west a few hours … Shenandoah National Park. So, my friends (yes, I have friends) … we debate the beach vs mountains regularly. Some try to do in between and enjoy lakes life.

Ignore buying a boat, the beach is probably cheaper in regard to gear, attire, etc. I mean top of line Merrels are way more than simple Birkenstocks.

But I have to say … mountains trump the beach. (more later)

Go ahead, prove me wrong.
