EASTER in Two (2)

Wait, what happened to “Easter in Three”? It never appeared!

There are things about the Passion week we don’t always get. Hours, even days, we do not have record of in the written Word. And in our own lives, there are things we wish were not known, brokenness-humiliation-sin we try to hide. We push them back and pray our mistakes never see the light of day.

Easter is a reminder that those things are never hidden from Him, but His love is greater than all of our mud, our ugly parts. His loving eyes see the things we try to hide and still He made the complete and final sacrifice that saves us. He saves us from the punishment, He saves us from the consequences, He saves us from ourselves. And that’s what makes this dark day a Good Friday.

The Road to Easter is the road to redemption! I hope you know that.
