35 Years

It was a Saturday. It doesn’t seem 35 years ago. I stood at the end of the aisle – waited for the entrance of a woman who still takes my breath away.

She entered – she didn’t run away. She said “I Do” and life has been a joy beyond what I could imagine.

I was so skinny.

But today, I wake up beside her and count my blessings.

I am traveling. In the Shenandoah National Park, spending the night at Skyland. Woke up to wind and icy conditions.

But I woke up next to her.

I’m blessed.

The Lord has blessed me.

About Todd K Estes

In this journey called Life, it gets a bit muddy - But Jesus sees beyond the mud and sees the person He created, the person He loves, and the person He is still working on. I am one of those persons - and so are you. I am a sold-out follower of Jesus, husband way out of my league, father to a great son, part of the family of God, and pastor of a great church family - Evergreen Baptist in Appomattox.
