It is so close – the weather seems to be getting colder (maybe it’s because I am listening too Rosemary Clooney’s “Snow”) – but I am so stoked.
Christmas can be a roller coaster for emotions. This is the first Christmas without my mom. Down goes the coaster. But there is a new addition to my family with may first grandchild. And so the coaster climbs even higher!
One of the gifts I have already given my wife this year was a set of plane tickets to enable her to be with our grandson on his first Christmas. There is a strength in being around others we love at Christmas. I can be without her a few days knowing she is with little Sammy.
Years ago, God showed His love by coming and dwelling with us – right here just like us – Immanuel – God with us.
Why? He loves us. WOW
