Here are some of my notes from yesterday … We are called!
Jeremiah 1:4-10
I can tell what generation you are from by whether you think this song was song by Lionel or Adele … HELLO
Hello, …
Hello from the other side
I must’ve called a thousand times
…
But when I call, you never seem to be home
=========
God’s Calling
– This is not something small, It’s huge – really HUGE! From the earliest Scriptures in Genesis to the text of Revelation, God is calling. …. Adam in the Garden / Abram from Ur/ Joseph in a dream / David out in a pasture / the Judges who were hiding, minding their own business, etc / Disciples from work / Paul on the road/ Saints all over the world in the End of Days
DEFINE …To be called is an act of spiritual and intimate connection that brings a divine urgency. God does it in different ways … through different means … with different purposes
Know this … we are all called. And as stated earlier, we are called with urgency. Do you grab that, urgency! What are you doing about it? How are you answering the call?
=========
Today, we are going to look at just one call, the Call of Jeremiah.
