April 21 – VOTE

My key point – vote!!!

Do I have a preference on how? Yes. But that is not my key point. Your vote is important.

Voting is part of our process.
Voting is a responsibility of every citizen.
Voting should be transparent, trustworthy, and above board.
And though we live in a Republic, the democratic process is important.

My great Commonwealth … Virginia … has a very important event taking place today. It is a day to vote. Not an election – No one is up for any position. It is a proposal that has drawn national attention.

Every rightfully eligible voter has a responsibility to study the issue, pray about it, seek wisdom from God. It’s not about what way my feelings are leaning. It’s not about what the news say or what celebrities proliferate on their soap boxes on and on.

Our vote is about redistricting the Commonwealth. The wording is nefarious. The intent is not truly known. The results, though calculable, seem to potentially be one-sided … and the side this vote comes down will have national impact.

SO – My key point – vote!!!
